It is especially often during these unlikely times where you find yourself sitting at home with ample time to pursue your passions and hobbies. Ever since I was a child I have always enjoyed being in the kitchen. Helping my mother with the food preparations was a highlight any day. From her self catering my six siblings and my Bat- and Bar-Mitzvahs to a simple gathering of family and friends, seeing her creativity and enjoyment show through in her creations was always a major motivator for me. For the last eight years I have had the joy of going from intern to baker and decorator to manager at an incredible Baltimore bakery, Pariser's Bakery. Even after coming home from a long day of baking I still often find myself drawn to my home kitchen to try a new recipe or idea.
Cake decorating is also one of my passions. I love working with buttercream and fondant especially and pushing my decorator skills to create whatever we or our customers dream up. The look on the recipients face when they see the finished product makes all the efforts put into the creation worthwhile even when in a few short hours it will only exist in memories.

Photography and the Beach
Another passion of mine is photography; especially beach photography. There is nothing more tranquil than feeling the sand on your toes and losing yourself in the sound of the waves crashing into the shore while capturing those East Coast sunrises and natures wonders. All images are shot from my iPhone.
